Excellent fishing, whale watching, scuba diving, beachcombing, nature cruises, storm watching, kayaking, wilderness hiking, old growth forests, and the 20-kilometer stretch of pristine beach at Long Beach - Pacific Rim National Park Reserve are some of the attractions and activities which draw visitors to Ucluelet and Tofino. The approximate year-round population of each town is just under 2000 people, and temperatures range from 5ºC to 28º C. Snowfall is minimal. A variety of accommodations, excellent restaurants & shops are available in both Ucluelet and Tofino.
